Thank you all for your kind comments. My Taisho Pharmaceutical test came back negative for influenza A and B, but I had a terrible sore throat, so I went to a general hospital. The test showed a faint line for influenza B. My symptoms worsened after that, although I no longer had a fever. I'm grateful for Tamiflu.

Toto-chan and my family have been sick with the flu. I've had the flu vaccine, but yesterday I started coughing and my temperature went up to 37°C (Japanese people have a low normal body temperature, so 37°C is a sign of a fever). I was in fighting mode, wondering if I was going to develop a fever, but it went back down to 36.4°C. Is it because of the vaccine? I'm still monitoring it.
